MeetUP - Chris Gallavin: the future of higher education

Collective Intelligence

A [c]ollective [i]ntelligence approach to the future of higher education

July's MeetUP is brought to us by the wonderful Chris Gallavin!

Higher education is in a state of crisis, not only in New Zealand but globally and perhaps surprisingly not just because of Covid-19.

Universities are finding their structure, funding models, competition models and market approach increasingly problematic. They have been around for more than 1000 years so it would be foolish to right them off.

But are they missing something? Do our communities and our problems require a different approach? Perhaps this might be a "life-approach" not merely a human approach.

In this talk Chris will start a conversation about the future of higher education, our collective problems and how we might employ a collective intelligence approach to addressing them.

Join us for a conversation with Chris Gallavin, Wednesday 12 July at 12 noon, online.

Our monthly MeetUP series is sponsored by our good friends at Huntress Wines. You can learn more about them here.
