MeetUP - Lisa Markwick: making the invisible visible

Collective Intelligence

Making the invisible visible

It's Lisa Markwick stepping up to the plate for our August MeetUP - she will be presenting to us on the very interesting and relevant to all of us topic...

Making the invisible, visible.  What happens as we grow and mature? How might this impact our organisations and teams, and vice versa?

There’s a pathway for our adult development - it's not linear but it's there. Over time it's possible to become increasingly willing and able to step into complex situations and take timely wise action.

We get more nuanced in our thinking and our inquiry, increasingly experimental in our actions, we get to play a longer term game with wider longer horizons. We get to play, not be played by our experiences. Most of this happens around us invisibly - but there are ways to make that journey more visible and our pathway more deliberate.

Experience helps but is not sufficient.

Organisations also have a life journey of maturity. Organisational development initiatives don’t need to be random.  The seeds of transformation can be seen in the way we have conversations and collaborate, the way we inquire, act and engage with feedback, the way we decide and experience power.

Lisa will speak from her own experience as a leadership coach, a CI facilitator and a partner for organisations wanting a coherent approach to become increasingly adaptive and responsive - present and ready for our future.

She’ll refer to a profile she finds helpful in this context called Shifting Horizons. You can read more about her at Mindful Adventures and on LinkedIn

Join us for a conversation with Lisa Markwick, Wednesday 9 August at 12 noon, online.
