Nathan Bramwell is all about youth empowerment and enriching local communities, especially the Rainbow/LGBTI+ populations.
It has been awesome to support his personal journey as he spends so much of his time supporting everyone else. Who supports the supporters? We do that at Collective Intelligence with a great deal of aroha!
"You shouldn’t boil an empty kettle", a step behind the often shared saying of "you can't pour from an empty cup" is a key message that resonates deeply ,and I am still reflecting on daily. With over 15 years of experience in the community and education sectors in areas that are driven by lived experience, I find myself both passionate and realistic about the work we do. When advocating and navigating these sectors, it's crucial to strike a balance between serving others and taking care of our own well-being and capacity. I am proud and grateful to have the support of a scholarship from Collective Intelligence, which empowers and connects me to kaupapa that helps explore this delicate balance."
